The hinge or high point of Moses' pray in Psalm 90 comes, in vs. 12, when he prays, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

If we were to state this Psalm in a single sentence it would be: "I will not properly number my days until I see my short life in relation to who God is, the certainty of death, the seriousness of eternity, and the grace of God that alone can make a temporary life eternally meaningful."
