Bolivian Youth Ministries

The primary objective of Bolivian Youth Ministries (founded by Jon & Linda Baker of Sweet Home, Oregon) is to reach the people of Bolivia, specifically the children, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They focus primarily on children who are living in situations that will certainly lead to spiritual and physical death. This includes orphans, the abandoned, the mistreated, street children, prison children, etc. These are children who, without direct intervention by an outside force and without the Grace of God presented in their lives, face certain demise. Their goal is to minister to these children that God has placed in their path. visit their site online at byministries.org, or their Facebook page here for more information.

life for mozambique

Started by an indigenous couple in partnership with Life Covenant Church, the Melanie Center is located outside Beira and is a community-based ministry that cares for orphans—providing shelter, food, medicine, and education. More than half of the orphans in its care are HIV positive—a significant condition for most Mozambique children. The Melanie Community Centers also provide food, medicine, and education freely to those in need in the local and surrounding communities and helps plant churches throughout the country. This ministry works closely with the local community to develop self-sustaining projects. For more information, visit lifeformoz.com.
