8 31 25 The Visible God

We all long to see proof that God is real. John tells us in 1 John 4:7–12 that though “no one has ever seen God,” His love becomes visible, first in Christ at the cross, and now through His people. In this message, we follow the Samaritan woman at the well, Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah, and the Good Samaritan on the road to Jericho to discover that:

Love has a Source — it flows from God, the only well that never runs dry.

Love has a Shape — it takes the form of a cross, sometimes sacrificial and costly.

Love has a Visibility — the unseen God is seen through the way we love one another.

The world won’t see God through our arguments or our buildings, but through our love. Every act of love, every hidden sacrifice, every wound we bind is the invisible God making Himself visible through us.
