Every Soul Thrists

There are certain things you don’t really know about yourself until life gets difficult. It is there that what one really trust and believes is revealed. It’s easy to sing words like, “All of You is more than enough for all of me, For every thirst and every need. You satisfy me with Your love. And all I have in You is more than enough.” Everything around King David has become uncertain; his entire world is collapsing... except for his God.
Somewhere in a desert wilderness, David writes Psalm 63. In doing so, we get a glimpse into his heart and he shows us what can happen when everything we thought we needed is stripped away, and we discover that God Himself is "more than enough".
